He's kinda shy, and likes to boss people like he owns everything and everyone.
And, when he arrived to the town he lives, was just recovering from a quake, a tidal wave, and a tornado. 93% of the men had no jobs.
Then, he helped the town to recover.
Soon, he hired all the unemployed men. Bought a few ships.
The town grew, and grew, and became prosperous.
If he ever leaves, the town will go down...

Shy, and likes to boss people around...
and saved a town...
Very... yeah, he needs a personality makeover... that makes sense

That's why he hired 3 men to bring down the camp.
He was too shy to go himself.

Leaders usually aren't shy you know... especially entrepreneurs

He's the exception.
And he's not commanded by White. The only reason he joined him was because Gary was pissing him off. And then he got to deal with:
1- Bandits
2- Goblins
3- Assasains
4- Elvish Rebellion
5- Dwarfs

1. Bandits, will kill him
2. Goblins, will kill him
3. Assassins, not a group...
4. Elvish rebellion, died out
5. Dwarfs, already have commerce with him

And not pissing him off, he choose to serve the purple mage because it was smart.

Listen, stop saying what he did and what not. He always goes on his own, as well as Matt did. The reason why Gary killed Matt is because Matt was hired to defend a Elvish town against an attack of Gary, and Gary, knowing that Matt was the Black Mage, and was going to fight him, he killed him, and Matt said on his last breath:
"Alex... I'm sorry to take you to dangerous missions."
"Necro... Take care of Alex..."
And Assasains is a group, but hasn't as much influence as Bandits.

I'm trying to make the GOOD guys more HUMAN.
Matt was a rogue, I can accept that, but someone who only helps themselves would not be helped in any way by the White Mage, and he would have to be killed, and killed only as a side mission because Gary could just offer him enough money to make him against the White One.
I like it better if Necro is, at heart, a good guy who knows he'll fall apart, and works UNDER the White Mage, WILLINGLY.

And assassins are like mercs, just on a lower scale (they don't sabotage, they kill singular.

And with the dwarfs I mean a dwarfish group called "The Superiors" which goals are not clear, but they think that they are waaaay more awesome than any other person, including the White Mage, and are destroying villages, cutting the commerce and taking away farms.

... And Necro works on the side that benefits him more.
The reason he didn't joined Gary was because he didn't wanted to hurt anyone. After Gary is defeated he leaves White's side, and goes on his own.

hes right you know, but here is what you can do, you may see many times throughout history that there may be this very extroverted guy out there, making billions for a company or whatever, but he's just the tool. There is a big difference between and extrovert and an introvert, and many times, introverted people are just idea banks ready to explode, but just dont have the skill to express their ideas. So many times, they seek the help of someone else, and that person becomes the tool for the MASTERMIND to use as he wills him to. The bigger picture behind the mask.
