Transportation

Supposing there are more than 1 continent, we have to wonder:
1- There are only boats. That would take a looong time, which our characters don't have.
2- Boats wouldn't resist all those waves.
3- Where we can get one...

well, they build the boats, we did it in Earths history before, so we know its possible. and i think there can be other forms of transportation, making this world a little less separated than early Earth's history...think on some other forms

Still, would take months.

yeah, we need to make the world less separated, another form of transporation, such as teleporting spots or something

My idea of the magic ship can apply.

That's the last idea I'm making, mainly because i'm quitting.
This ship works with some viking- style oars that are moved by machinary that is powered by a magic orb that also controls the entire ship.

yes, humans (and other creatures) use their recourses to get to where they need, and the fact that one of the recourses they have in this world is magic, we have to take that for to its full advantage, good suggestion Felix
